What is Eucharistic Adoration?

The gift of Jesus in the Eucharist is one of the great treasures of our Catholic faith.

"Because Christ Himself is present in the sacrament of the alter, He is to be honored with the worship of adoration. To visit the Blessed Sacrament...is a proof of gratitude, an expression of love, and a duty of adoration toward Christ Our Lord. (Pope Paul VI)

Imagine a quiet room -- our chapel; a time of peace, a time set aside to relax, reflect, think, read and pray. A time alone with the Blessed Sacrament. Call the Parish Office at (425) 822-0295 for available times.

Some thoughts and feelings from fellow parishoners who have spent time in the chapel in Eucharistic Adoration:

"I enter the chapel with tensions and the need to program and control my life. I leave after an hour with a peace and an acceptance...this is priority time for me!"

"It is the best hour of my week. All the worries of the week are blocked out by the quietness. There is a closeness and peace there in the silence of the chapel. Jesus is with us."
