Coffee and Doughnuts
This social gathering is offered many times throughout the year following the Sunday morning Masses. It is an opportunity for parishioners and visitors to gather in the Social Hall for socializing and refreshments. Parish ministries take turns hosting. If you are new to our parish, this is a great way to get to know other parishioners. For more information, contact Vinnie DiGiulio or call the Parish Office at (425) 822-0295.
Fall Festival
This annual event is a Holy Family tradition that has been around for two decades. It brings the parish together to celebrate community, renew ties with old friends, make new acquaintances and contribute financially to the church. The festival includes terrific ethnic foods and great games and family fun for children of all ages. Entertainment features a variety of music and dance groups. In addition, hand crafted specialty items are located in the craft area for your shopping pleasure. A volunteer committee begins meeting in September to plan this event. For more information, contact Andrea Liggett at the parish office, (425) 822-0295 x200.
Hispanic Ministry Committee
This committee facilitates the participation of the Hispanic community in the life of the parish by recruiting leadership from the Hispanic community and by encouraging bi-lingual events. The goal is an integrated parish that honors the traditions of all cultures. For more information, contact Betsy Staal at the parish office, (425) 822-0295 x213.
Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal organization that offers men in our parish an opportunity to work together in building the Body of Christ through the principles of unity, charity, fraternity, and patriotism. Holy Family Council No. 7642 currently has over 170 members. Some of the ways the council actively supports Holy Family Parish are:
Pancake Breakfasts
Carnation Give-Away for Mother’s Day
Crab Feed, Parish Picnic
Christmas Card Sale
Free Throw Contest for Youth
Pepsi Booth at Fall Festival
Support of a Seminarian
In addition, the council organizes special outings for its members and families, which have included a Wives Appreciation Dinner, Knights Steak Dinner, and Family Campout. The Knights of Columbus is always looking for new members. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. For more information on the Knights, visit www.knightsofcolumbus7642.org. or contact Mark Mauger at the Parish Office (425) 822-0295.
Lenten Soup Suppers
These suppers are held on four Wednesdays during Lent. Parish organizations share in the task of preparing and serving soup and bread after the Wednesday evening Lenten Mass. Donations received are split between Operation Rice Bowl and our Sister Parish in Malawi, Africa. For more information, contact Betsy Staal at the parish office, (425) 822-0295 x213.

The group meets every second Sunday of the month to discuss pertinent topics and plan activities that will benefit the parish. Yearly events that Pakikisama participates in or hosts include:
Simbang Gabi
Lenten Soup Supper
Coffee Hour
Parish Picnic
Fall Festival
Dinner Dance
Pakikisama also responds to the call to serve those in need, such as feeding the homeless and reaching out to those in need of physical and/or spiritual aid. In addition, the group supports Holy Family’s social, cultural and educational programs. For more information, contact Rudy & Gon Diligencia, or Jesse Casanova or call the parish office, (425) 822-0295.
Quilters
This group makes quilts to use as liturgical banners in the church, to sell in the craft booth at the Fall Festival (for children’s charities and the “Being With” program), and to give to participants in our Grief Ministry program. This is a great way to meet new friends and use your sewing skills for a good cause. Quilters meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Parish Center. For more information, contact Marian Papenhausen, or call the parish office, (425) 822-0295.

The Respect Life Committee encourages our parish in prayer, sacrifice, and action for the most vulnerable members of society. Taking guidance from the Bishops of the United States, the Committee seeks to educate Catholics about the teachings of the Church pertaining to the full spectrum of life issues. Specific projects include co-sponsoring the Guardian Angels Mass in October to support families who have lost children during the previous year; providing a speaker and displays for Respect Life Sunday each October; sponsoring pancake breakfasts in association with the Knights of Columbus; organizing the Respect Life Essay Contest for Jr. High students at Holy Family Parish School in conjunction with the Knights of Columbus; coordinating the “Being With” Project, a ministry of companionship to those who are medically vulnerable at Cascade Vista; supplying Harrington House with new-baby layettes for every resident; providing a chartered bus annually in January to join the Pro-Life Rally in Olympia; and sponsoring the annual Spring Luncheon for all ladies of the parish.
