Holy Family Parish Center
New Parish Center Dedication - May 2nd
After a year of demolition, site preparation and building, the new Holy Family Parish Center is now occupied. Dedication and blessing of the new building will take place on Sunday, May 2 after the 11:00 a.m. Mass. Archbishop Brunett will preside at Mass and at the dedication, offering thanks to God for all those who had a part in its completion, including the parish leaders, fund-raisers, Building Committee and Construction Team members, the architects, contractors and sub-contractors. We will also thank God for the Archdiocesan and City of Kirkland contacts, the in-kind donors and the more than 1000 parishioners who made a pledge to the project! Following the ceremony, tours of the building will be conducted and refreshments will be served.
Beginning sometime in June, the old parish center will undergo remodeling to become the new parish “Youth Center.” It will become the central location of our Preschool, our LifeTeen and Edge programs and our scouting activities. The school’s Art classes will also use the building during the school day. In addition, general parish meetings will continue in the evenings in the current Holy Family Room, which will remain the same. Thank you for your faithfulness to this project!
